At St. Mary’s No.2 National School Nenagh, we offer a broad and balanced curriculum that supports each child’s academic, emotional, creative, and social development.

Each class offers a nurturing, age-appropriate environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to do their best. Small class sizes and dedicated teachers ensure every child receives the attention they deserve.
Curriculum Overview
Our teaching follows the Primary School Curriculum as set out by the Department of Education in Ireland. Core subjects include.
English & Gaeilge – Building strong literacy, communication, and comprehension skills
Mathematics – Developing problem-solving and number sense through active learning
SESE (Social, Environmental and Scientific Education) – Encouraging curiosity about the world around us
SPHE (Social, Personal and Health Education) – Promoting wellbeing, safety, and respect
