PA Fundraiser

 Many thanks to all those who supported our recent fundraising event of Bag packing in Dunnes. We are delighted to say that this raised the sum of €820 (approx).

 School Fair   

 Well done to everyone on a fantastic School Fair which we are delighted to say raised the wonderful sum of €920. Again, many thanks to all who supported this event and we hope that the children enjoyed it.

Board of Management

 The next meeting of our Board of Management will take place on Tuesday 28th April at 4.30pm in the school. Members of the Board of Management will attend a training day on Wednesday 27^th May.

Closure

Reminder: There will be an early closure at 12.30pm on Wednesday 29^th April to facilitate a staff meeting and there will be a school closure on Thursday 30^th April to facilitate training in the new curriculum. Thank you for your continued  cooperation with these days.

School Testing

School Testing for Senior Infants to 6^th classes will take place during the week beginning 18th May. If at all possible we would ask that pupils are not absent during this week.

Tennis

Tennis will commence for all pupils on Tuesday 14^th April and continues on  21^st  and 28th April and on  5^th & 12^th May. Please ensure your child wears suitable footwear on these days.

Swimming

Swimming will take place for four weeks commencing the 8^th May and continuing on 15^th, 22^nd and 29^th May for all classes.

All pupils must bring swimsuits and swimming hats on these days. Good behaviour is expected of all pupils at the swimming pool.  Swimming will take place during the school day and all pupils are expected to participate in swimming lessons, unless they are unable to for health reasons.   If your child is not participating in swimming for this reason, they will accompany us to the swimming pool and will be supervised by an adult in the waiting area.  Please send in a written explanation if your child is not participating in swimming.

Pupils may be collected at their normal times from the school following swimming.

Sponsored Walk

On Friday 1^st May, all pupils will participate in a Sponsored Walk around the town of Nenagh. Sponsorship cards will be distributed to all pupils in the next few days.  Thank you for your continued support.

 Spring Clean

Our Spring Clean will also take place on Friday 1^st May.

School Tours

Junior Infants to 6^th classes will go on their school tour on 5th June.

A more detailed letter with details of the tour, consent form and payment request will be sent to all parents in the next few weeks.

School Sport’s Day

Our School Sport’s Day has been provisionally set for Friday 19th June.

(weather permitting) More details will follow.

6^th class Graduation

 6^th class Graduation will take place on Tuesday 23^rd June at 12.30pm. More details to follow.
